Refund policy

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date you received the item to request a return. This applies to unopened and unused products in our categories of facial and body care, masks, tanning drops, sprays, and women's cosmetics.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as you received it: unused, unopened, with all tags attached, and in its original packaging. Please note that, for hygienic reasons (in accordance with EU consumer regulations and Swedish law), we do not accept returns of cosmetic products that have been opened or used, such as creams, masks, sprays, tanning drops, or similar items. You must also provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

We will review your request and, if approved, send you a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send the package. Items sent back to us without a prior return request will not be accepted. Returns should be sent to the following address: ScandiSocialPro, Muskotgatan 32, 424 41 Göteborg, Sweden. Please do not send any returns until you have received written confirmation from our support team. Packages sent without prior approval will not be processed or refunded.

Please note that you, as the customer, are responsible for the return shipping costs in accordance with Swedish and EU legislation, unless we have stated otherwise (e.g., for defective products). However, we offer free return shipping for defective or incorrect deliveries to ensure your satisfaction.

Damages and Issues Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us at support@facetan.shop or +46 76 706 77 23 as soon as possible (preferably within a reasonable time, up to 2 months as required by law).

For complaints regarding defective products, clear photos of the damage and the product's batch number (found on the packaging) are required for us to approve the case. We reserve the right to deny a complaint if the evidence (photos or batch number) is insufficient or if the damage is deemed to have occurred after the product was opened and used improperly.

We will assess the issue and resolve it promptly. For defective cosmetic products (e.g., leaking packaging, allergic reactions, or manufacturing faults), we offer a full refund, replacement, or repair, provided you can submit evidence (e.g., photos or description). Under the Swedish Consumer Purchases Act (1990:932), you have up to 3 years to report original defects that did not arise from your own use. We also comply with the EU's minimum 2-year warranty for goods.

We strongly recommend always performing a patch test on a small area of skin (e.g., the inside of your arm) 24–48 hours before applying a new product to larger areas or the face. This minimizes the risk of allergic reactions or irritation. Any reactions after use without a patch test are your own responsibility and do not entitle you to a refund or complaint, unless the product has a confirmed manufacturing defect.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items Certain types of items cannot be returned due to hygiene and safety reasons, in accordance with EU consumer product regulations:

Opened or used cosmetic products (e.g., facial creams, body care, masks, tanning drops, sprays, or makeup).

Custom or personalized products (e.g., specially mixed formulas).

Sale items or products purchased at a discounted price (unless defective).

Gift cards or digital products.

Please note: A broken seal or opened outer packaging on skincare products and cosmetics means the product is no longer resaleable and cannot be returned for health and hygiene reasons. This applies even if only the safety seal or foil has been broken, as the product is then classified as used.

Exchanges The fastest and easiest way to exchange an item is to return the one you have (following the process above) and, once the return is approved, place a new order for the desired item separately via our webshop at facetan.shop. We do not offer direct exchanges to ensure efficient processing, but we are happy to assist with recommendations to find the right product. We do not send replacement products until the original item has been received and inspected at our return address in Göteborg.

14-Day Withdrawal Period in the EU In accordance with the EU Distance Contracts Directive (2011/83/EU, implemented in Swedish law through the Distance Contracts Act), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item, without giving any reason. This applies to all deliveries within Sweden and the rest of the EU. As with our 30-day policy, the item must be unopened, unused, with all tags attached, and in its original packaging. You are responsible for return shipping costs, but we will refund the full product amount (excluding original shipping) if the return is approved. We must refund you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, but we may wait until we have received the item back or proof that it has been sent.

Refunds We will notify you by email once we have received and inspected the return, and whether the refund is approved. If approved, the refund will be automatically processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Note that it may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to process and display the refund on your account (typically 3–5 business days).
